The 100 Best Nonprofits survey for 2011 was conducted online from late April through June. The 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon appears in the October issue of Oregon Business, which was released at a dinner event September 28 in Portland.

The survey consists of 35 statements divided into six workplace categories.Employees  rate the statements in terms of satisfaction and importance. This year, volunteers working at least 20 hours per month may also participate in the survey, if the organization chooses to include them.
