Based on its widely recognized 100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon project, the 100 Best Green Companies are determined by an anonymous employee survey and an independent assessmentof the employers’ sustainability practices.

For the third annual 100 Best Green Companies in 2011, SustainablePractices questions were incorporated into both the 100 Best Nonprofits survey, conducted April-June 2010 and the 100 Best Companies survey, conducted August-November 2010. Nearly 19,000 employees from 419 Oregon workplaces took part in these two surveys.

In late March, we will notify all comany and nonprofit survey participants whether or not they are a 100 Best Green Company. We weil celebrate these workplaces at a luncheon event on May 25, 2011 at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower. 

For the second year in a row, the June issue of Oregon Business magazine features our 100 Best Green Companies to Work For List, profiles some of the 100 Best Green Companies and covers other topics related to sustainability

In correlation with our 100 Best Green Companies to Work For in Oregon 2009 event, the June 2009 of Oregon Business magazine is devoted to sustainability, environmental and green issues in Oregon.
